Her career got mixed in as "influencer" while the other artists stick to music. Madison was too accessible by viewers by appearing on vlogs with David Dobrick and other people. She always seemed like an influencer in my opinion. Not saying she isn't talented. But if you're everywhere people kinda just write you off as creating content instead of making music. it's like "oh she's an influencer that makes music, but she's not a real musician"

I did theater as a kid and teenager and for a very shy undiagnosed autistic girl like me it was the only thing that got me out of my shell and made me interact with new people. I actually got on a stage and said things. I could never do that otherwise. It was an amazing thing for me that Im so grateful for. Also I’m a really big fan of musical theater so from that I know how valuable art education is to perfect your craft. I think most of the professionals in that field have some form of formal training if not a full on education and you can tell. It’s actually one of the reasons why I love musical theater so much! The performers are so amazingly good!! Like I recently saw a local production of Matilda three times (I went with different people) and the children there just blew my mind. They were all in some form of after school program related to musical theater. I’m sure they won’t all be pursuing it later in life but this will surely have been a very important (hopefully positive) experience for them. Edit: Also I’m studying engineering (STEM) and the disrespect from both professors and students toward non-STEM fields of study has been sooo eye opening. Where I study (Sweden) the engineering program is divided into a bachelor and a master level. In the master level we used to be required to have a non technical course but they removed that because they got so many complaints from students who didn’t want any of that because it felt like a waste of time for them. The professor who told us about this was the program director and he also thought it was a waste of time and I think he was the one who removed that requirement. He was also very elitist about STEM when he presented his program in the fair I attended which almost made me not choose this masters program because I found it so icky. It was the only one I thought seemed fun though so I kinda had to. In general people have been so pro technical courses throughout all of this engineering studying and I hate it. Like sure it can be fun and it’s definitely important but what’s wrong with getting a bit more well rounded??

The biggest mistake Katy Perry have in her new album is that she worked with Dr. Puke(I don't have enough respect to give to his name🤣🤣)... And she opened the album release with a song about women empowerment🤣🤣 It's like a slap to feminism, and we haven't tackled the lyrics🤣🤣🤣 like girl the lyrics are tired and stuck in 2016🤣🤣🤣

Remember when Amy Winehouse spoke about making Lover music in the sense that she loved the older music w content about yearning and love and sacrifice and desperation sometimes and how she isn’t into the music where it’s like emotionally unavailable , rejecting vulnerability, or pretending like she isn’t a lover girl. (I’m bad at paraphrasing) but I really loved that.

I feel like Arts is arguably more valuable than ever since AI is devaluing arts one at a time. We need arts experts to bring life back to technology. Realistically being an artist is risky but these people would be what is keeping real human arts alive in the future.

Listen, it's up to everyone to make their own decision regarding the Captain Jack Sparrow life--that being said, I don't want ppl to think they have to bow down to the whims of these companies. Every time Amazon or Hulu or Netflix 'outsmart' us by raising prices in new ways, the internet is always going to outsmart them in return. That's the beauty of the internet. It's like the co-evolution of the rough-skinned newt and garter snake. Basically a race where the newts become more toxic in response to snake predation, and then the snakes become more immune, and so on. For example, YT had to give up on going after ad-block because every 15ish minutes the internet kept updating codes to override them (watch ads for Camryn tho lol). Basically what I'm trying to say is I don't want to give specific examples of where you can sail your ship, cuz I don't want the British East India Trading Company to come after us, but I fully encourage those who are curious to browse reddit, discords, forums, etc to find safe alternatives to these streaming services. Also use extensions--just look around and make sure to see what the people™ say. I'm fully on board, pun intended, with everyone getting a (wooden) leg up on the big guys. Stay safe folks!

Leading from the point about lack of financial gain from studying or pursuing art, I feel like people who do have a desire to pursue art feel as if making a living from it is not realistic. There's more of a risk of putting time, effort, and money into art than there is with pursuing more solid and reliable career. As you mentioned, the lack of effort put into various art/ creative forms these days also inspire uninspiring end products which in turn breeds more dull creators. However, i think the fact that this is occurring is less to do with a lack of art education and more to do with the fact that as the years have gone by, people are more accepting of 'subpar' art forms, and even go as far to go allow artists who do not produce quality work to be massively rewarded financially and socially (fame). I think it leads to the idea that art is "easy" and lacks effort and imagination, when in reality, its just that the poor quality art is being turned into the stereotype or being popularised. Talent is still most definitely appreciated and rightfully rewarded but i think in these past years as acquiring fame has literally never been easier, people who only chase fame and money and do not put in the effort dilute the talent pool but get equally rewarded as those who put in effort, thus reducing the perception of the value of art.

Is Tyla still being crucified for the "coloured" comment? Or the "we're friends" or whatever situation? I feel more than anything fans and haters want celebrities to be too transparent, to almost be like their friends. Privacy is not only reserved for Beyonce. Can we not consume art, hate it or love and move on from that without wanting to dig for some deep sentimental element that makes a star relatable. Amy Winehouse lived her truth out loud and what did her fans and haters do? I will never understand the issue of being nosey being disguised as the search for relatability. I have recently discovered Snoh Aalegra, do I want to know who is she married to or her ethnicity? Do I even want her to translate perfectly in interviews (confident, PERFECT)?...These people are artists, not pageant queens and kings. How does all of that affect how I consume her craft. If she came across as too shy, how should that even affect what I know her for. I just think the internet has just unnecessarily escalated peoples demands. And some demand relatability or whatever that they too would not willing submit. Just move to the next artist that gives you all the ADD-ONS you desire which seemingly have nothing to do with their craft...YAWNS

I don't really think Sam Smith is a good example of the hate men get for being androgynous or breaking boundaries because for me it's the same case as Harry Styles,... they just do it badly cause they think if it's extra it's good... no avant garde does not mean good, what they wear 75% of the time is just ugly and a cheap attempt of what Adam Lambert or Elton John have done in the past.

The reason I believe people make these “burn books” of celebs is because… these celebs are treated like saints, by the media and incapable of making mistakes as a famous person, so once it turns out they’re like just abusers. People are praying for the downfall of these essentially Regina George’s and plastics. Everyone is tired of bullys, of the abuser being given a platform and popular. And we are taking them down, and it’s not two wrong makes a right. This isn’t an eye for an eye, this is literally just people sharing information about a celeb that has made a career of carefully curating what the public gets to see. Meanwhile everyone who works for them, or the people that know them, know the real them. Kate Williams been warning people for decades about Diddy. As much as it’s like weird, it’s just so many people feel like, good people with talent were overlooked. Because the industry decided it was easier to make an abusive person come across as relatable and nice. People are mad at the marketing not as much at the celebrity. We are made the marketing lied to us, we are mad that the victims got bullied into silence, and so many of us are just sick and tired of it. “Why is a bully, an abuser making millions?” It’s not ok anymore and I think trying to make people normal everyday people come across as crazy (gaslighting them). For attacking these celebs and wanting their careers to be over is spot on, it’s how you deal with bully’s and abusers and it’s the only way to tell the industry we aren’t taking this anymore, stop protecting abusers, stop selling us abusers. Nicki is getting cancelled because she refuses to have an honest discussion to the public about her PDFile husband and brother.
